Kenya – Community awareness initiative in collaboration with Italian CSOs and the Ministry of Health
The activities will run over several days, and will include the distribution of 1,000 prevention kits, basic food support and information brochures. Furthermore, will be held a community awareness-raising in collaboration with 12 health centers and with the support of 100 community Community Health Volunteers (CHV) in 4 different Sub-Counties (Langata, Kasarani, Embakasi West, Ruaraka)

Kenya – New wing at the Pangani dispensary
The “Boresha Maisha: alternatives of life for street children and underage refugees in Nairobi” project is co-funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (1.170.000,00 Euros) and is implemented by GRT – Gruppo Relazioni Transculturali with support of CCM – Comitato di Collaborazione Medica and US ACLI Torino.

Health at school, effective interventions to improve learning environments and a partnership that works
The project, launched in 2015 and aimed at supporting Kenya Comprehensive School Health Policy implementation, has seen interventions in the educational, agricultural and health fields through activities to raise awareness on issues linkled to health, nutrition, hygiene, safety and environment. Additionally, activities included the construction of kitchens and toilets and the provision of water tanks and pumps in five schools in the County.
